12月8日，中国人民大学亚洲研究中心、教育学院举办“中日韩高等教育国际学术研讨会”。
中国人民大学副校长洪大用出席会议开幕式并致辞。日本东京大学高等教育研究院主任教授小林雅之，日本文部省高等教育政策顾问、同志社大学高等教育研究中心主任山田礼子，日本龙谷大学文学研究生院教授林美辉，韩国高丽大学师范学院教育学系教授卞基溶，韩国延世大学教育学院教授李炳植，以及中国人民大学教育学院院长秦惠民、教育学院教授周光礼、教学教师发展中心主任田宏杰、教育学院副教授胡莉芳、心理学系教授胡平、教育学院院务助理周详等嘉宾、学者参加研讨会。会议由中国人民大学国际交流处处长、亚洲研究中心副主任张晓京主持。
洪大用副校长对会议的举办表示祝贺。他表示，当前，世界各国高等教育都面临着改革创新发展的重大课题。如何抓住机遇，促进本国本地区高等教育的发展，无疑是高等教育界人士共同关心的话题。东亚各国，特别是中日韩三国在大学发展与建设方面具有很多共同的理念，又各自具备自身的特色和优势，彼此之间加强交流很有必要。
洪大用副校长简要地介绍了中国人民大学近年来改革与发展的举措，并希望通过本次会议，各国学者能够相互借鉴，取长补短，为中日韩三国高等教育的发展提出富有建设性的建议，实现共同发展。
随后，各位与会学者就大学治理、教师发展、教育质量保障等相关议题进行了讨论。
本次研讨会的举办，促进了中国人民大学学者与韩国、日本有关高校学者在高等教育领域的经验交流，拓宽了中国人民大学教师和行政管理人员的学术视野，增进了中国人民大学与国外友好院校的交流与合作。
On December 8th, 2014, Asia Research Center and School of Education of RUC held China-Japan-Korea International Seminar on Higher Education.
Professor Hong Dayong, Vice-president of RUC attended the opening ceremony and gave a speech. Professor Masayuki Kobayashi from Center for Research and Development of Higher Education, The University of Tokyo, Yamada Reiko, Consultant on Higher Education Policies, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan and Director of Higher Education and Student Research Center, Doshisha University, Professor Hayashi Miki from Graduate School of Letters, Ryukoku University, Professor Byun Kiyong from Department of Education, College of Education, Korea University, Professor Rhee Byung Shik form College of Science in Education, Yonsei University, Professor Qin Huimin, Dean of School of Education of RUC, Professor Zhou Guangli, Director of Center for Institutional Research, School of Education of RUC, Professor Tian Hongjie, Director of Center for Teaching Development of RUC, Vice-President Hu Lifang of the School of Education, Professor Hu Ping of the school of Psychology, Assistant for the School of Education, Zhou Xiang attended the seminar. Dr. Zhang Xiaojing, Director of International Office and Vice-Director of Asia Research Center of RUC hosted the meeting.
Vice-President Hong Dayong began his speech by congratulating the seminar. Nowadays higher education in every country is facing the project of innovation so the topic of seizing opportunity to promote and improve the higher education is highly concerned. Countries in East Asia, especially China, Japan and North Korea share many same ideas on the development of universities and colleges and each country holds its own distinguishing feature and advantages. So it is necessary to enhance communication with each other.
Vice-President Hong Dayong briefly introduced the methods that have been taken in RUC to achieve improvement and reformation. He hoped that after this seminar, scholars from different countries could learn from each other and come up with constructive suggestions and achieve a common development.
Then the scholars at the meeting exchanged opinions on the quality assurance for higher education, the development of teachers and the reform in student enrollment.
This seminar promotes the exchanging of experience between professors from RUC and Japanese and North Korean, broadens the horizons of teachers and administration staff in RUC and enhances a friendly co-operation with foreign universities.
