2015年9月5日-6日,由中国人民大学法学院、牛津大学法学院、英中协会和韩国高等教育财团联合举办的“法治的过去、现在与未来”国际学术会议在中国人民大学明德法学楼601国际学术报告厅召开。

9月5日下午和6日还分别进行了五个单元的学术交流,分别为:“大宪章与世界”,“大宪章、宪法时刻与公法”,“大宪章与当代法治”,“大宪章与正当程序”,“大宪章与人权保障”。来自英国、美国、韩国、加拿大、澳大利亚等100余名该领域的知名学者与国内名家出席会议并发表学术演讲。
会议旨在纪念《自由大宪章》诞生800周年,研究《大宪章》的历史背景和影响,探索法治建设的路径以及法治发展的未来走向。

On 5th and 6th September, 2015, International Seminar on “The Past, Present and Future of the Rule by Law” which was organized by Renmin Law School, University of Oxford Faculty of Law, Britain and China Association and the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies was held at Conference Hall 601, Mingde Law Building, Renmin University of China.

On 5th and 6th September, there were five units of academic communication, including” Magna Carta and the World”, “Magna Carta, the Constitution and Public Law moment”, “Magna Carta and the Rule of Law”, “Magna Carta and due process”, and “Great Charter and Human Rights Protection”. More than 100 famous scholars and domestic masters in this field coming from Britain, the United States, South Korea, Canada, Australia and so on attended this meeting and published lectures.
The meeting aimed at marking the 800th anniversary of the birth of “Magna Carta”, research the historical background and influence of "Magna Carta" to explore future development paths of the rule by law.
